Help with Childcare Costs – 30 Hours Free Childcare!

From September 2017 free childcare entitlement will be extended to up to 30 hours a week for working parents of three and four-year-olds. This will be an extension of the current universal entitlement of 15 hours a weeks for all 3 and 4-year-olds. You can set up an account and apply for both 30 hours free childcare and Tax-Free Childcare at the same time.

Free 15 hours per week for all families of three and four year olds. Application to Haringey Council is not required – you simply go direct to the approved childcare provider of your choice. You will still receive free 15 hours even if you are not eligible for the free 30 hour offer.

Free 15 hours per week for some two year olds of low income families in receipt of certain benefits. Also, if you work, earns £16, 190 or less and are in receipt of Tax Credits you may also be eligible.

Don’t miss out on free nursery places

All three and four-year-olds and some two-year-olds are entitled to up to 15 hours per week of free early learning. For two-year-olds, visit the early pages on the council website and apply online to see if you qualify for Free for 2s (external link).

To apply for a three and four-year-old place, you can apply straight to your chosen childcare provider.
